Wanderers Hotel reopens doors after refurbishment
We’re thrilled that the Protea hotel in the Wanderers (the full name being Protea Hotel by Marriott Johannesburg Wanderers) has re-opened its doors to a remodelled space.
In the grounds of the leafy and serene Wanderers Club, it’s been refurbished to provide facilities for leisure travellers looking for a family and those buzzwords apply: getaways, workcations or social get-togethers. And of course that Jozi favourite: sundowners in the heart of Joburg.
Some details: there’s an artisanal deli-coffee bar with complimentary wi-fi, freshly prepared grab-and-go meals, great views through to the rim-flow swimming pool and lush gardens. There’s an expansive open-air deck, and of course the hotel restaurant & bar.
