Papachinos is a kids wonderland
We may have found a local Disneyland-type experience for kids. OK, it’s not anything like the iconic kids park, but it’s flashy and full of activities and can occupy any kid who feels like running around for two hours at the very least.
There are jungle gyms, slides, a cricket pitch, putt-putt basketball/netball, an area to make pizzas, and machines to play on. There are child minders to watch over the kids. This is not where you’d go to have a quiet, intimate leisurely lunch. This place thumps and runs and apparently 3000 people go through to visit on a Sunday.
We were all quite happy with our food. My halloumi wrap was tasty, others had burgers and chicken breasts and everyone was satisfied. The kids ate pizza and spaghetti bolognaise though much of the food was uneaten because they were too busy running around. The piece of chocolate cake we shared was excellent.
It’s a popular you need to book well in advance for a weekend visit.
