Creative pop-up brings artisinal products to Hyde Park
Who’d have thought we’d get access to artisanal products from 44 Stanley and Victoria Yards in Hyde Park? The novel collaboration yields a pop-up of beautifully hand-crafted local goods in arguably the most upmarket centre in the city.
Just in time for the festive shopping season it brings artisans, makers and designers to the north. Though from different properties, both 44 Stanley and Victoria Yards focus on sustainable practices and artisanal craft with an emphasis on social development. The pop-up (called YVx44) opened on Friday, kicking off the 50th birthday celebrations of the centre. The pop-up is in a warehouse-like space and on the sixth floor. The range is enticing, from fashion and accessories to furniture, décor, craft and design and coffee.
