Col’Cacchio Blubird caters to specific tastes, as always
We know Col’Cacchio has excellent pizzas and superb salads. We’ve been eating there for years, in fact, we had our first experience of the world-class pizzas in the place where it all started: on the foreshore near the waterfront in Cape Town.
Just over 25 years ago, Col’Cacchio opened its first restaurant there. Fast forward and the company has become a national brand, and it’s still going places.
Lucky for us we have one in our neighbourhood in Blubird Shopping Centre, and it’s Halaal, which is proving very popular in many of its outlets.
As with all the restaurants it’s artisanal wood-fired pizzas, sumptuous pastas and gourmet salads. As a friend says, she loves going there because she can create what she wants exactly how she wants it.
There are things suited for those with specific inclinations. Options cater to those with food allergies or restricted diets, such as yeast-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, wheat- and gluten-free pizza bases; as well as wheat and gluten-free pasta. There are no added preservatives or added MSG in any dishes.
Kids get to play with dough and draw with wax crayons. Oh, and they’re now also open for breakfast. It’s all very much on trend. We’re delighted to be offering a R350 voucher to a lucky Inillovo fan. Just See our post…
